Legal Solutions Counsel
Since February of 2009, Jerry has been working as Legal Solutions Counsel with Indigo Venture Law Offices. He had a central role in developing the firm's first legal package, the Records Review Solution for Massachusetts Corporations and has since authored the Corporate Formation Advisory Solution for Massachusetts and Delaware corporations. He has handled client matters in the areas of business formation, corporate administration and governance, financing and dissolution.
Jerry went to law school with little intention of becoming a lawyer. In fact, in the personal statement section of his application, he wrote as much. His father owned and operated a small business as did both of grandfathers and he wanted to do the same. Law school was just a means to that end. He soon learned, however, that practicing law would allow him to help others bring their business ideas and ambitions to fruition and that he could play a role in not just one business but many.
Upon his acceptance to the Massachusetts Bar in 2008, Jerry started Pryor Law Office. He met Roger and John through the Business Lawyers Network and was drawn to the Indigo Venture philosophy of the practice of law. With a background in journalism and communications, Jerry enjoys working with clients in publishing and web-based and new media industries.
